Can I Borrow $25?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so ! you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'

T! he little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yell ed. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to

have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.

we have to hop on one leg back and fro
first must hop using the right leg than come back must
use left leg and that is considered 1 time
and we have to do 12 times

went to J8 with mich and met her pri sch friend there
she is chio and i LURVE her height

than i was like one siao girl run out of macs and said hi to them

owells today was a rainy day [;
when i woke up it stopped raining than when i leave house nearing the bus-stop it suddenly rain again than i never bring umbrella so walked under the rain but luckily it's not heavy rain lah
but still got wet

than when i reach school the rain got heavier so have to 'run' under the rain than met hui min jing yi germaine and michelle than walk together to market to buy breakfast than me and jingyi forgot to take chopstick so we ended up using michelle's chopstick we each take one side of the chopsticks but we still managed to eat haha [;

than went for training

reached the hall and it was occupied by floor-ball people than they like playing a game or something so we watched them play but i damn scared lah the ball fly here fly there don't know when will it hit your head lorr but watch them play very funny haha [;

okayy for training mr chew made us do some UBER funny thing we all kept laughing luhh but seriously lah it's damn funny than later we pao qiu than i notice my left arm have more strength than my right arm i ask my GF help me see than really is my left arm stronger leyys gosh ! anyways UBER angry cause i can't seem to service the ball over the net and we had to 'wei' again today TT than jonathan ask me and hui min to set AGAIN ! but i wanna spike the ball ==
and i also notice that my setting and spiking now kns TT

after training did 600 skips than bathed and HOMEEEE <33~>Somone who join Vball and don't come for training

BUT in actual fact you don't even have tuition THAN you say
that your parents force you to join ... but you can always tell
them that you don't want this is your own CCA not your parents'

and than you say you don't like Vball therefore you don't want
to go for trainings and you wanna pon as and when you like
since you are not interested in Vball i suggest you change CCA

hmm... today had Vball in the morning just came back and i'm now blogging so ... yeah...
urm ... today 教练 was like si beh angry than we do one mistake we have to 'wei' 30 and we broke a record of 400 + 'wei' ankle pain ------- TT than we like did the same thing as our seniors the spike 接 set than at first we all blur blur one than don't know what to do than we thought don't need to set the ball which the person jie than we again kena 30 'wei'

than later we played this 'match' thingy if the ball hit one time than go over the net have to 'wei' again than if touch net must 'wei' 100 than if never jie the properly have to 'wei' than we like training our leg muscles luhh but also good lah so can run faster or jump higher or smth like that lah i don't know ...

than did 体能 some physical thingy lifted weights both 5 and 10 kg while the seniors do all the exercises need to lift 10 kg weights hand was like jelly after lifting them lor but i like [: than went market with alex hui min and jing yi ~ and than HOMEEEEEE

2. Poetry competition
poetry pieces submitted on A4 pages using arial font size12 and double space lines. pieces must be both submitted in hard and soft copy. if not in english, translation must be submitted with it.

each entry must include short explanation of significance and meaning behind each entry. DO NOT use copyrighted materials [duh!] submit through email to the given one above by 30 june 2pm

3. Video competition

video should not exceed 3 mins if there are lyrics or spoken lines, a script must be provided in both hard and soft copy. recording should be submitted on cd/dvd. the video should be mpeg4/3, wmv or avi format. resolution of the video must be at least 640x480 in size. submit through email by 2 july 2pm

4. Photography competition

photographs must be submitted in both hard and soft copy. photos submitted in hard copy must be 4r. each enrty should include a short explanation of significance and meaning. DO NOT USE COPYRIGHTED MATERIALS. submit through email or by hand to Miss jasmiyanti second level staff room by tuesday 30th june 2pm.
